Ordinary Extraordinary Photo Challenge:
Create an interesting photograph from ordinary objects. Make something that is often overlooked look extraordinary. Try something new like changing your angle or getting really close. Think about your background and decide if it adds to your composition or distracts. A good place to start is to think about ordinary things that you have access to. Then think about how you can make them interesting. You are welcome to Google search ideas but remember that you need to turn in a photo that you took and even if you are using an idea make it your own. No using an old photograph. The idea is to get you practicing the technique of finding beauty in the everyday. If you edit your photo in anyway, using filters, apps or editing software please send the original as well as the edited version. (Usually I can see these things in class as you edit so this will help me understand what you changed and what knowledge you have coming into class) You will submit this photo in Google Classroom. In the private comments please answer the following questions: 1. What did you take a photo of and why? 2. What did you use to take the photo? (example: Iphone 8 plus) 3. What (if anything) did you use to edit the photo? 4. Is there anything you would do different if you took the photo again? |
